Give these Homemade CBD Condiments a Try

You can use Canna Trading Co. tinctures to make homemade CBD condiments. Why not utilize what you already have on hand in more applications? CBD edibles can be expensive. You can likely make your own at home and control the ingredients at a more affordable price. The CBD condiments in this guide also have multiple uses and can be altered to suit your personal taste.

Our Best CBD Condiments

These are our best CBD condiments recipes. We hope that you enjoy them and get a little creative to make them your own.

Creamy Mustard Sauce with Alchemy

This creamy mustard sauce uses our Canna Trading Co. Alchemy tincture. It’s the ideal tincture for this recipe because it has a little bit of a spicy, peppery flavor to it.

1 cup mayonnaise (not salad dressing)

½ cup stone ground mustard

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 – 2 droppers of Alchemy

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Pinch of sea salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Simply place all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk them together until they’re combined well. Use chilled or at room temperature.

Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month in a tightly sealed container.

This can easily become a sauce for fish, chicken or pork by replacing the mayonnaise with heavy cream instead and allow it to reduce. Do not add the Alchemy until the sauce has cooled.

Homemade CBD Ketchup

It’s not as hard to make your own CBD ketchup as you might think. Your crockpot does most of the work for you. If you like spicy ketchup, add chili sauce or Sambal. You can make it smoky by adding smoked sea salt and liquid smoke. This is one of the CBD condiments that you can put on anything that you’d normally put ketchup on or in.

28 oz. whole tomatoes

2 droppers Canna Trading Co. Organic Olive Oil Tincture

1 clove

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 ½ teaspoons onion powder

½ cup apple cider vinegar

¼ cup red wine vinegar

½ cup water

2/3 cup granulated sugar or sugar substitute

½ teaspoon celery seed or flakes

½ teaspoon ground mustard

2 teaspoons sea salt

Place everything except ¼ cup water and the organic olive oil tincture into your crock pot. Stir it and set it to low. Stir once an hour, while awake, for 10 – 12 hours. Allow the ingredients to get thick. After 10 – 12 hours, remove the clove and use an immersion blender to smooth the mixture. Strain it if you wish.

If the ketchup is too thick for your liking, add the other ¼ cup water. Once cooled, add the CBD tincture.

If you choose to add liquid smoke, only add 1 teaspoon at first. It is a bit strong. It’s best if you add it before the CBD tincture since the tincture is heat sensitive. You can add just 1 cup of the ketchup to a saucepan, then add the liquid smoke and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Then add it back to the big batch and taste.

Asian Dressing with Canna Trading Co. Organic Olive Oil Tincture

What can you do with an Asian dressing? Almost anything. It can go on grilled meat, noodles or even a green Asian-inspired salad. We love this recipe because it’s one of the CBD condiments that you can get creative with and use over and over again.

½ cup toasted sesame oil

½ cup extra virgin olive oil

2 droppers Canna Trading Co. Organic Olive Oil Tincture

1 clove garlic grated

1 green onion

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

¼ teaspoon Sambal

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro

Use kitchen shears to cut the green onion on a bias as thinly as you can. It’s okay to include the white portion. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combine. This dressing is best used at room temperature.

You can add toasted sesame seeds to this dressing for more sesame flavor or a teaspoon of tahini.

Homemade Buttermilk CBD Ranch

Ranch is one of the most popular condiments. Sure, you can add a Canna Trading Co. CBD tincture to pre-made ranch, but the flavor is so much better when you make it yourself. We are suggesting Alchemy for this recipe too, but you are also welcome to use one of our target tinctures (anxiety, sleep or inflammation) if you wish.

2/3 cup buttermilk

1 dropper Canna Trading Co. CBD tincture

3 tablespoons mayonnaise (not salad dressing)

¾ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon chives chopped fine

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon ground mustard

1 small clove garlic grated

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon dry oregano

½ teaspoon onion powder

Pinch of sea salt

Allow the yogurt or sour cream to get to room temperature so it’s easier to work with. Mix in the lemon juice and then the buttermilk. Grate in the garlic using the finest setting on your box grater. Chop the chives as small as you can. Add them to the mixture along with the remaining ingredients. Stir until combined and taste. Add more salt and pepper if you wish.

This ranch dressing can also become a dip by adding more sour cream or Greek yogurt.

Additional ways to use this recipe:

  • Pasta salad dressing
  • Add shredded cheese to make it cheesy ranch
  • Add crispy bacon to make it bacon ranch
  • Add jalapenos, chile sauce or hot sauce to make it spicy ranch
  • Can’t decide between BBQ sauce and ranch? Add your favorite BBQ sauce and combine both
