Pumpkin and CBD Facial and Facial Mask
Ok, let’s get onto the start of the show – pumpkin and CBD facials. You might already have most of these ingredients on hand if you’re a baker or coffee drinker. These combinations, oddly enough, can also be turned into a milkshake, pie or other edible treat.
Simple Pumpkin and CBD Facial Scrub
This recipe is so simple – and it’s one that can double as a dessert with a few extra ingredients. Yes, you might smell like you have a pumpkin latte on your face, but it’s worth it. You can use this facial scrub daily.
1 dropper Canna Trading Co. Vanilla Tincture
1 teaspoon fresh ginger finely grated
2 tablespoons ground coffee
1/4 cup pure pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons brown sugar
All you need to do here is combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix it together with a wooden spoon until all of the ingredients are combined.
To apply this facial scrub, just apply small amounts to your face and use a circular motion to work it into your skin. This also massages your face a bit. Don’t forget your neck! You can also use this facial scrub on your chest.
After about 2 minutes of massaging it into your skin, let it sit for 5 – 10 minutes and then rinse your skin with lukewarm water. Use a soft towel to pat your skin dry.
Once your skin is completely dry, it’s a good opportunity to give it some love with our Canna Trading Co. Renew CBD Facial Cream.
You can make another variation of this pumpkin and CBD facial scrub recipe by adding in a teaspoon of sea salt as an extra exfoliating option. You’d only want to use this facial scrub 3 times a week to prevent over-exfoliating.
Yogurt, Pumpkin and CBD Facial Mask
Face masks are great to sleep in. This can also be used as a couples face mask, because your partner’s skin gets beaten up by the elements too. When it’s bedtime and it’s just family in the house – no one will see that your partner has a moisturizing and hydrating facial mask on. This recipe can be left on overnight or just for 15 minutes and rinsed off.
1 cup pure pumpkin puree
2 tablespoon honey
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
Whisk the tincture into the Greek yogurt. Add the honey and then the pumpkin. Stir well until everything is combined. Chill before application if you wish.
Start by allowing some steam to hit your face by just holding your face over hot running water (don’t let the water touch your skin though). This helps open up your pores and relaxes the muscles in your face. Do this for 3 minutes.
Pat your skin dry. Apply ½ of the mixture to your face and neck. Your partner can use the other half, or you can store it in your refrigerator for another time.
Let the facial mask sit on your face for at least 15 minutes and then rinse your face with lukewarm water. Pat it dry with a soft towel.
If you wish, apply our Renew CBD Facial Cream afterwards.
