Alchemy Sage Oil Blend
This peppery, herbaceous one of the infused CBD oils has multiple applications. It adds depth of flavor and a taste of fall. It’ll have you craving Thanksgiving dinner for sure!
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
10 sage leaves
6 pink peppercorns
4 white peppercorns
6 green peppercorns
6 black peppercorns
1 clove garlic smashed
2 droppers Alchemy
For this recipe, simply add the olive oil to a saucepot and turn the heat to medium low. Add in your sage, garlic and peppercorns. Steep for 1 hour. Let cool for 15 minutes and pour everything into a jar or bottle. When completely cooled, add the Alchemy and shake everything up.
Leaving the spices and herbs in the oil will help the flavor continue to develop.
Using the Alchemy Sage Oil
This is one of our favorite infused CBD oils because Alchemy fits in so well. Alchemy has a slightly peppery flavor to it, so it’s already a little warm and spicy. Adding the various peppercorns to the oil ensures that the Alchemy pairs perfectly with the other flavors.
Pork and sage go very well together. After you’ve roasted a pork loan, pork roast or have expertly seared pork chops, drizzle a little of this infused CBD oil over the top when serving. Make sure to shake or stir it will to redistribute all of the flavors.
Practice Thanksgiving dinner early and use some of this infused oil over the top of your sliced turkey. You can also drizzle it over mashed potatoes, dressing or roasted root vegetables.
If you are a lover of pumpkin or butternut squash ravioli – after you’ve dressed your plate with sage brown butter sauce, drizzle a little of this Alchemy Sage Oil over the top. It’ll add dimensions of flavor that make your mouth do a happy dance.
Cinnamon Vanilla Cardamom Oil
We mentioned infused CBD oils for sweet applications, and here it is. This simple infused oil takes dessert to the next level. We’ll even show you a potentially surprising way to use this oil in dessert.
½ cup walnut oil
½ cup grapeseed or hemp seed oil
2 whole cinnamon sticks
6 cardamom pods
1 whole vanilla bean split
2 droppers Vanilla CBD Tincture
Add the walnut and grapeseed/hemp seed oil to a saucepot and turn the heat onto low. Add in your cinnamon sticks and cardamom pods.
Steep for 1 hour. Make sure to stir the oil every 20 minutes.
After 1 hour, pour the oil into a jar or bottle. Add in the Vanilla tincture and split vanilla bean. Store at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, or in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. It has a shorter shelf life because the oils have been cooked and infused.
Using the Cinnamon Vanilla Cardamom Oil
This oil is wonderful over a fresh from the oven bread pudding or cinnamon roll. This is one of the infused CBD oils that you might want to take by itself if you’re a little under the weather and have a sore throat. You can just add lemon and a little honey to soothe a sore throat.
Here’s what you might not expect – white chocolate shell topping for frozen desserts and ice cream. All you need to do here is melt some white chocolate in a double boiler (8 oz. of white chocolate) and add 2 tablespoons of the infused CBD oil. Add a dash of ground cinnamon, apple pie spice or pumpkin spice to pump up the flavor.
You can also use this oil to flavor your cup of coffee or tea. It works best when added to dairy fat, so consider making a quick whipped cream and add just a teaspoon to 1 full cup of cream. You’ll have infused cream for a few days of hot beverages.
The Infused CBD Poultry Oil
What is infused CBD poultry oil? It’s quality olive oil that is steeped with all of the fresh herbs you’d find in a poultry blend, and a few spices. Yes, you can even use this on duck and quail. If you really wanted to, it could also be used on a juicy steak.
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 droppers Organic Olive Oil Tincture
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
6 sage leaves
4 stems of Italian flat leaf parsley
Handful of mixed peppercorns
3 sprigs thyme
2 cloves garlic peeled and smashed
Leaves from 2 stalks of celery
2 sprigs fresh oregano
Add everything to a saucepan except the Organic Olive Oil Tincture, and turn the heat to medium low. Steep for 45 minutes. Take out any herbs that have just left stems behind and add a sprig of fresh. The parsley will need to be replaced.
When it’s cooled a bit, add in the Organic Olive Oil Tincture.
Baste over chicken, turkey or even pork as it rests after roasting. You can also drizzle this over pasta, farro, quinoa and cous cous salads. IT’s also a great addition to your brown butter sauce over fall-themed pastas like ravioli and pumpkin bucatini.
We hope you enjoy using these fall infused CBD oils in your dishes this season. To increase shelf lives, just pop them in the refrigerator. They will solidify, but you can leave them at room temperature for an hour or run them under warm water to bring them back to their original consistencies.
